Elddis

Elddis has been a cornerstone of British caravan and motorhome manufacturing since 1964. Founded by Siddle Cook* in Consett, County Durham, the company began with the launch of the original Elddis Whirlwind and quickly earned a reputation for quality and innovation.

Over the decades, Elddis has introduced many iconic ranges, including the Crusader, Avante, and Xplore caravans, as well as Autoquest and Encore motorhomes. In 2017, Elddis became part of the Erwin Hymer Group, bringing it into the global leisure vehicle spotlight.

Elddis pioneered the SoLiD construction system, an advanced bonded build method that improves durability and resistance to water ingress. Their vehicles are designed for touring enthusiasts and families alike, offering well, thought out layouts, comfort, and long-term reliability.

Still manufactured in County Durham, Elddis blends British craftsmanship with modern design to serve the needs of today’s caravan and motorhome owners.
